How to teach Musical Instruments
Using this Musical Instrument Sort Activity, students sort instruments into different categories to learn more about how instruments are made.
Your students will encounter many different musical instruments and may want to learn how to play them. This activity will help them understand how instruments are made and create music.
Use the 3 red border Instruments Cards as categories. Next, look at the Instrument Picture Cards. Then, sort the pictures into the 3 categories of instruments. Finally, use the Sorting Worksheet to write the letters shown on the Instrument Picture Cards in the correct category.
