How to teach CVC Words
Using this CVC Short Vowel Sounds Activity, students sort CVC words based on the short vowel sound in the word.
CVC words make up a lot of the words your students encounter. This activity gives them practice reading CVC words with short vowel sounds.
Match the CVC Word Cards to the Short Vowel Letter. Put them into groups. Use the vowel sort worksheet to write the words. Use the vowel sort coloring worksheet for extra practice and comprehension.
