This 1.OA.1 First Grade Common Core Lesson challenges students to find the missing addends in the given equation. This lesson is great in multiple situations- math centers, small groups, partners or a full class lesson.
First, choose a math strategy (cubes, number lines, fact families,etc) to solve for the missing number. When you have found the missing addend, find the number on the sunshine card. Finally, continue your practice with the additional worksheets with a partner or by yourself.
