Description
Finding the multiples of a number is one of the biggest steps a fourth grader takes toward real multiplication fluency. A multiple is simply the product of a number and any whole number, so the multiples of 6 are 6, 12, 18, 24, and so on. This Multiples Worksheet gives students focused practice writing multiples in order, extending multiple patterns, and deciding whether a given number is a multiple of nine. Students who skip count confidently find factors, common multiples, long division, and equivalent fractions much easier when those topics arrive later in the year.
This 4th grade multiplication worksheet is print-ready and needs no prep. Students begin by writing the first six multiples of 4, 7, 9, and 12 on the lines provided. Next they fill in the missing numbers in three number patterns built on 6, 7, and 11. Then they circle every multiple of nine hiding in a set of eight numbers, and finish with two muffin-tray word problems that put multiples to work at a school bake sale.
