How to teach Counting
Using Counting Objects Activity, studentscount the items up to 6 in a set in order to build their counting fluency.
Being able to count to 20 is an important skill for your students. This activity will help them become really good counters so they can count in a snap.
Cut out and laminate each activity card. Use the activity worksheet to complete the activity. Look at the picture on the activity worksheet. Find the matching card using the picture. Count the pictures to answer “How many?” Write the number next to the matching picture. Students should be able to count the pictures no matter how they are arranged.
