Description
Counting to ten is one of the first big math milestones for young learners. This counting to ten worksheet gives kindergarten students practice counting a set of objects one by one, saying the last number they count, and writing that number to show how many. When children can match a number word and a numeral to a group of real things, they are building the number sense that every later math skill depends on.
On page one, students count three rows of colorful snacks: apples, cookies, and oranges. Each row shows a different amount between six and ten, and children write how many they count in the box beside it. Next, they complete two number lines that run from one to ten by writing the missing numbers in the empty boxes.
