Description
This dimes circle worksheet helps 1st graders learn that every dime is worth ten cents and that counting dimes is the same as skip counting by tens. Children practice finding a set amount of money with dimes, counting rows of dimes to find a total, and solving a simple money story problem.
The dimes circle worksheet has three parts. In Part A, children look at an amount such as 70¢ and circle the dimes that make it from a row of ten. In Part B, they count rows of dimes by tens and write the total amount on the line. In Part C, they read a short piggy bank story, add the dimes together, and write how much money there is. Every dime on the page is drawn to its true size with a reeded edge, so the coins look like the real thing.
