How to teach Shapes
UsingDominoes Same Different Shapes Activity, students match dominoes by finding two shapes that are the same.
Identifying shapes is a skill for all students. This activity will help your students match shapes no matter the size or color. Simply place these dominoes in a math center!
The player sitting clockwise must match the end of the played shape with the end of one of their dominoes. If they have one of the same shapes, place the matching shape end-to-end (ex. triangle touching triangle). If a player does not have any matching shapes, they may pick from the draw pile. After game play, complete the shapes worksheet provided.
