Description
Fractions on a number line can feel tricky until students see that the space between 0 and 1 is simply split into equal parts. This fractions on a number line worksheet gives third graders clear, evenly divided number lines so they can connect the idea of a fraction to a real position between two whole numbers. By reading points and plotting their own, students learn that the denominator tells how many equal parts the whole is cut into while the numerator tells how many parts to count.
