Your students encounter fractions in their every day life. Comparing fractions will help your students help your students determine which slice of pie or pizza that they want! Using this worksheet, students will be able to identify larger fractions through picture. This activity is perfect for small group, math centers or partner practice.
In order to prepare this activity, print on cardstock. Then, cut out fraction cards before laminating for a longer-lasting resource.
Using this activity, students will compare two fractions with different numerators and denominators by playing Fraction War! Players will create common denominators before comparing, and the player with the bigger fraction wins the cards of that round. The player with the most cards at the end wins.
