How to teach Counting
UsingK.CC.5 Kindergarten Common Core Lesson, students count the objects on each card to match number and word cards.
This lesson includes worksheets, assessments, activities, and a poster all related to the Common Core Standard. Being able to read numbers is a standard skill for all students. This lesson gives them practice with counting and sequencing numbers 1-10.
Look at the picture on the activity worksheet. Find the matching card using the picture. Count the pictures to answer How many? Write the number next to the matching picture. Students should be able to count the pictures no matter how they are arranged.
