How to teach Shapes

This Making Shapes From Shapes Activity teaches students how use pattern and attribute blocks to create 2-D shapes with angles, and sides.

By creating shapes out of different materials, your students will gain a better understanding of shapes. This activity gives students a hands on practice with 2-D shapes.

Using the given materials, create 2-D shapes to show your understanding of angles, and sides. After you have created your shape, draw a picture and label the different parts.
