How to teach Seasons
UsingFour Seasons Activity, students further demonstrate their knowledge of seasons, by drawing a picture of a tree in each of the four seasons on the worksheet provided.
Knowing about the seasons will help your students pick out their clothes and activities depending on the season. Students will build their knowledge of the seasons using this activity.
Use the picture cards to identify and sort things characteristic of each of the four seasons. Place the pictures on the sorting mats provided. After sorting, play Seasons Spin! Deal the picture cards to a small group of players. Players take turns spinning the spinner, and discarding a card that is related to the season the spinner has stopped on. The player to get rid of all of his/her cards first is the winner!
