How to teach Adding Tens
In this Adding Tens and Tens Activity, students will practice adding 10 to a given number to build addition fact fluency.
Ten is an important number in our number system. By being able to add ten fluently, your students will be able to add mentally. This activity helps students practice adding 10 to a given number.
First, make a pile of heart cards and answer cards. Then, match the equations to the answers. Finally, continue your practice with the worksheets provided!
