How to teach Beginning Consonants
Using the B and P Beginning Sounds Sort Activity, students sort the pictures cards into two beginning sounds categories, B and P.
Being able to identify the beginning consonants helps students read and write words. This activity gives them practice using common words that they will encounter in their reading.
Students use the picture cards to sort into the beginning sounds B and P. Then, continue their practice using the provided worksheet.
