How to teach Beginning Sounds
Using the Beginning Sounds Worksheet – Animal, students use pictures to determine the beginning sound of the animal shown.
Being able to identify the beginning consonants helps students read and write larger words. This worksheet gives them practice using common words that they will encounter in their reading.
This worksheet shows students pictures of animals. Students have to use the picture to decide the beginning sound and letter that the word begins with.
