How to teach Alphabetical Order

This Dogs Easy Alphabetical Order Activity will teach your students how to put three sets of sight words in alphabetical order.

Knowing how to put words in alphabetical order is an important life skill for your students to be able to do. This worksheet help them be able to find words in a dictionary, file folders in an office, and look for destination locations at the airport.

First, sort out the cards based on the picture. You should have three different sets – paw print, dog, and dog house. Then, put each set of cards in alphabetical order. Use an Alphabet Posteras a support to make sure that your order is correct. Finally, complete the worksheet independently or with a partner.
