How to teach Homographs
Using Double Dip Homographs Activity, students match each cone with the two sentences using the same homographs.
Being able to use the correct homograph helps your students clearly share their messages. Your students also will encounter homographs while they are reading. Since homographs are spelled the same, your students will need to know how to pronounce the word correctly. This activity will help them build their understanding of when to use each homograph pair.
Match the word on each cone with two sentences to create a double-scoop delight! Then, choose 10 sentences to write on the worksheet.
