The verb go is one of the first irregular verbs children meet, and it refuses to follow the rules they have just learned. Most verbs simply add -ed for the past tense, but go becomes went, and the present progressive form becomes going. This Go Going Went Missing Word Worksheet gives 2nd grade students focused practice choosing the right form of go for the time each sentence is describing.
