Second graders take their first real step into fractions when they learn to split a whole shape into equal shares and give those shares a name. This halves, thirds, fourths fractions worksheet focuses on exactly that skill: partitioning circles, squares, and rectangles into two, three, or four equal parts, coloring the right share, and naming what those equal parts are called.
