How to teach Reading Comprehension
This Know Your Numbers Reading Comprehension Test Collection gives your student reading passages about numbers to build their reading comprehension skills.
In each of these stories, you will find a story with a number theme. Each story is structured very similarly to help with reading. Once students understand the pattern, the next stories should be easier! Also, you will find many sight words in these high-interest stories. There are also some more difficult words that fit the topic, with blends and digraphs for students to practice saying and reading.
First, read the questions. Then, read the passage. As you read, circle or underline important details in the text. Finally, answer the five questions. Make sure that you find support for your answers in the passage.
