This seasons writing worksheet helps 3rd graders turn what they notice about the world around them into clear, vivid writing. Students think about how spring and summer really look, sound and feel in the place where they live, then put those details into their own words. It is a simple way to connect science observation with descriptive writing.
Students begin by writing the name of their state. Then they fill four labeled boxes: spring weather, things they do in spring, summer weather and things they do in summer. Each box has four roomy writing lines, so there is plenty of space for full sentences filled with sensory details.
