Being able to write clearly will help your students to share their ideas and opinions with an audience. This activity teaches students how to put sentences in order based on sentence structure.
Students put sentences in order based on sentence structure. Then, students continue their practice using the worksheets.

Use this Creating Complete Sentences Worksheet as an additional resource for your students.
Introduce this activity by writing an example of an incomplete thought on the board like “is running”. Have students try to tell you what is going on. Next, ask students to rewrite the sentence to complete the sentence to tell you who is running. Then, have students complete the activity independently or with a partner. Finally, students practice reading the sentences out loud.
