This lesson teaches students how to determine if a whole number is prime or composite. This lesson is perfect for small group, math centers or independent practice.
First, look at the number on the card. Then, think of multiplication sentence where that number is the product. Next, sort the number as prime or composite. If you could only think of an equation that is ___ x 1, then the number is prime! Finally, continue practicing with the provided worksheets individually or with a partner
