In this 5.NF.3 Fifth Grade Common Core Lesson, students solve word problems involving division of a fraction.
This lesson teaches students how to solve word problems involving division of a fraction. This lesson is perfect for small group, math centers or independent practice.
First, read the scenario on the pizza slice card. Then, match it to the picture or equation card. Next, match it to the solution card. You will make a set of three cards. Once you have made a set, record your solutions on your worksheet. Finally, continue your practice with the provided worksheets independently or with a partner.
