How to teach Division
Using this Doghouse Division Activity, students solve division problems and match up division cards to answer cards.
Knowing your multiplication and division facts fluently helps your students to perform more difficult math tasks. If you know your division facts, your students will be able to multiply as well. This activity is a fun way for your students to put their division skills to practice.
Print this activity on cardstock. Cut out and laminate for a longer-lasting small group activity. Then, pass out materials. Students will match the Green Division Cards to the Blue Answer Cards by correctly solving the division problems. After making a match, the students record their answers on the Doghouse Division worksheet provided. Finally, the students will create their own problems and solve them.
