Comparing two numbers is one of the very first math ideas a Kindergarten student meets, and this Bigger Smaller and Same Numbers Worksheet gives that skill a clear, friendly place to practice. Children look at two written numerals side by side and decide which one is bigger, which one is smaller, and when the two are exactly the same. Working with numbers from 2 to 10, students build the number sense that later supports greater than and less than symbols, ordering, and place value.
This printable bigger smaller and same numbers worksheet keeps the task simple so young learners can focus on thinking rather than decoding directions. Part A asks students to circle the bigger number in each pair. Part B asks them to circle the smaller number, and to circle both numbers when the pair matches.
