Introduce this worksheet by writing sentences a paragraph like this on your board. “My friend Susie likes to jump. Susie likes to swim. Susie likes to dance.” Ask your students how you could combine these sentences into one sentence. You could keep practicing so that you would introduce multiple conjunctions. Then, students complete worksheet independently or with a partner. Finally, challenge students to create their own sentences including conjunctions.
