How to teach Shape Attributes
Using the Drawing Attributes Worksheet, students draw shapes that continue the pattern by only changing one attribute (color, sides, angles, etc).
This shape attribute worksheet gives students practice with the many vocabulary words related to two dimensional shapes. The repeated exposure to vocabulary like sides and angles will ensure student use of these words.
Students will draw a shape that continues the shape train by only changing one attribute. Attributes that student can change could be the color of the shape, number of angles, or number of sides.
