How to teach Beginning Consonants
Using the Feeling Bright Great and Proud R Consonant Blends Activity, students sort the words into the correct blend headings to build their reading fluency skills.
Being able to identify the consonants blends helps students read and write words. This activity gives them practice using common words that they will encounter in their reading.
Sort each word under the correct heading. Complete the first worksheet by writing the words in the correct box. Complete the second worksheet by using words in sentences.
