Hamster Cause and Effect Worksheet

Cause and effect is one of the first thinking skills a reader uses to hold a story together. A cause is the reason something happens, and an effect is what happens because of it. When a third grader can name both halves of that pair, a story stops being a list of events and becomes a chain the reader can follow and explain.
