Reading an analog clock is one of the first real-world measurement skills a young student masters, and it begins with the whole hour. When the long minute hand points straight up at the 12, the short hour hand names the time, and the clock reads “o’clock.” This Identifying Times Worksheet gives first graders focused practice with that single idea, using nine clean, easy-to-read clock faces instead of a crowded page of mixed skills.
This telling time to the hour worksheet works in two directions, because telling time is not the same skill as showing time.
