How to teach Research
Using this Informative Text Paragraph Writing Activity, students will use graphic organizers to plan their informative/explanatory writing.
Your students already know a lot of information on topics that you have learned in school. This activity will help them to build on their knowledge through planning out and writing an Informational Text.
Give students a topic to research. Students will use the Research Notes worksheet to notate any facts, definitions, details, or quotations relative to the topic while conducting their research. The graphic organizers will also help your students to plan out their introductory and conclusion paragraphs before writing their final draft.
