Life Cycles Life Science Reading Comprehension Worksheet

Every living thing grows and changes through a set of stages, and this Life Cycles Life Science Reading Comprehension Worksheet gives second graders a short non-fiction story that walks them through those stages. Students read about a bean seed that sprouts into a flowering plant, a caterpillar that becomes a butterfly inside a chrysalis, and a tadpole that grows legs and hops onto dry land. Reading about life cycles in connected text is very different from labeling a diagram.
