Description
How to use Number Recognition
Using Number Sense Game, students work with a partner to draw two cards and say the two-digit number the cards create.
Being able to recognize a group quickly will help your students mental math skills. This activity gives your students practice with two-digit number recognition.
Cut out the digit cards on the two pages. Students work with a partner to draw two cards and say the two-digit number the cards create. The game can be more challenging by having students decide who has the highest or lowest 2-digit number. Another variation would be determining which student has an odd or even number. “Winners” get to keep the cards. To make the game even more challenging, copy more cards, and have students draw three at a time to create 3-digit numbers. An odd/even recording sheet has been provided to add an extra writing component
