Neptune Planet Worksheet

Neptune is the eighth and farthest planet from the Sun, and it is one of the most fascinating worlds students meet in an elementary astronomy unit. This Neptune planet worksheet gives fourth graders a short, factual reading passage about the ice giant and then asks them to use it — first to complete five sentences, and then to reason in writing. Learning the planets is not only about memorizing a list of names. It is about pulling facts out of an informational text and explaining what those facts actually mean.

This 4th grade planets worksheet is built in three pages.
