Moving to a new house is one of the biggest changes a young child can go through, and it is a perfect subject for reading practice because every second grader can imagine it. The New House New Town Reading Comprehension Worksheet tells the story of Ashley, who unpacks the last box in a room that does not feel like hers yet, misses her old back yard and her best friend, and then meets a boy from next door with a soccer ball. Students read the passage, then answer questions that send them back into the text for the details and the reasons.
