How to teach Apostrophes
Using this Who Does It Belong To Activity, students show possession of objects using correctly with apostrophes.
Apostrophes can be used for many different purposes. This activity provides students the basic practice that they need to when using contractions and possessions.
Play Tic-Tac-Toe (Four in a Row!) by drawing cards and covering up the correct punctuation. Then, sort the cards into categories depending on possession.
