This adjectives temperature worksheet helps 1st grade students learn how adjectives describe the world around them. An adjective is a describing word that tells more about a noun. Words like hot, cold, dark, bright, wet, and dry help children explain how something feels or looks, which makes their speaking and writing clearer.
The worksheet has a word box with six adjectives, set up as three pairs of opposites. Students read six short sentences, look at the picture beside each one, and write the adjective from the box that best completes the sentence. Each word is used one time.
