A percent is just another way to name a part of one hundred, and once students see that, fractions, decimals, and percents stop feeling like three separate topics. This Making Percentages Worksheet gives 5th graders focused practice renaming fractions and decimals as percents and then reading percents straight off shaded area models. The fractions use denominators of 4, 5, 10, 20, 25, and 100 — the family that converts cleanly to hundredths — so every single problem reinforces the same big idea: percent means per hundred.
This 5th grade percentages worksheet is organized into three short parts that build on one another. Part A asks students to write six fractions and three decimals as percents.
