Using this Silent Letters Detective Worksheet, students search for examples of words with silent letters in various texts.
Silent letters are tricky for your student to know how to pronounce. This worksheet gives your students practice with words that have silent letter combinations.
Using various texts, locate examples of words with the following silent letters. Challenge yourself to write words that have three or more syllables, and have the silent letter combinations in the middle of the word, as well as the beginning and end. Look up the definitions of words you do not know.
