How to teach Reading Comprehension
Using this Slater and the Slug SL Phonics Reading Comprehension Worksheet, students build their reading comprehension and phonics skills while reading words featuring SL.
Your students need lots of practice reading words that have beginning and ending blends in them. This worksheet gives your students practice reading words that focus on the SL blend.
First, students read the questions. Then, read the passage. As you read, underline or circle key words or phrases in the passage that are key details. After reading, use the passage to help you find the answers to aligned questions.
