Description
Once students can add two-digit numbers, the jump to hundreds is mostly a matter of trusting the columns. This triple digit addition worksheet keeps every problem free of regrouping, so a 2nd Grade student can focus on one thing at a time: line the ones under the ones, the tens under the tens and the hundreds under the hundreds, add each column, and write the answer where it belongs. Nothing carries, so a wrong answer always points at a place-value slip rather than a forgotten carry.
Twelve problems sit in their own bordered boxes across three rows, each numbered and set in a clean stacked column format with a printed plus sign and an equation line. The addends were chosen so no column sums to more than nine and no addend contains a zero, which means a student cannot shortcut the ones or tens column by spotting a pattern. Sums land between 484 and 979, and no sum or addend is repeated anywhere on the page. A complete answer key is the last page.
