Introduce this worksheet by giving your students the sentence starter "I walked into the room and I couldn't...." . Next, have students quickly tell a story using the sentence starter. Then, students complete worksheet independently or with a partner. Finally, have students share their stories with the class in an Author's Chair presentation.
