How to teach Peer Editing

Using Work in Progress Peer Review Worksheet, students write about a scientific topic or historical event to share their writing with a friend to gain feedback to improve their writing.

Peer editing can help your students to improve their writing skills.  This worksheet will help your students give feedback and encouragement with a peer to move to the publishing stage.

Write about a scientific topic or historical event. Share your writing with a peer. Listen to questions and suggestions your peer has and work together to make your writing better. Edit your writing to correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Revise the writing with good word choice.
