Alphabetical order is one of the first real research skills a child learns, and it turns out to be the key to using a dictionary, a glossary, an index, or a classroom word wall without getting lost. By third grade, students are expected to go past the first letter and keep comparing until the words come apart, which is exactly the step this amphibians alphabetical order worksheet is built around.
