Adverbs describe when an action happens.This worksheet will give students an opportunity to find examples of adverbs in a chart.

First, read the words in the chart. Next, circle examples of adverbs in the chart. Then, choose two adverbs in use in a sentence. Make sure that you are clearly describing the action of the verb. Challenge yourself to continue your practice with adverbs by finishing the sentence “I spoke _________”. How many adverbs can you put on your list?
