Using L.2.6 Second Grade Common Core Lesson, students use words and phrases acquired through conversations, reading and being read to.
This lesson teaches students how to words and phrases they find in reading in their own writing samples. This lesson is perfect for small group, literacy centers or independent practice.
Students will use the reading bookmark to gather new words and phrases as they read. After collecting words, students will define those words and then use them in their own writing.
