How to teach Adverbs
Using this Play Scrabble Adverbs Worksheet, students will be able to write adverbs while playing Scrabble to build their describing skills.
Adverbs describe when an action happens. This worksheet will give students an opportunity to play Scrabble while reviewing examples of adverb they know.
First, think of adverbs that can fit on the Scrabble board. Next, add words to the Scrabble board so that words use one of the letters in ADVERB. Then, write the adverbs in the blank provided. Once completed, challenge yourself to writes sentences using the adverbs you played.
