How to teach Informational Writing
Using Explain It All Informative Explanatory Writing Activity, students write informative and explanatory texts to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly.
Being able to clearly share information with facts is important for your students. By using these cards, your students will narrow their writing topics to help them get started right away. This activity will help guide students’ writing to create thoughtful writing pieces.
Students explain one of the topics on the idea cards. Next, use the graphic organizer to plan and then publish on the template.
